The IVA’AL Group is comprised of tribally owned companies. The Santa Rosa Band of Cahuilla Indians is a federally recognized Indian tribe and majority owner in IVA’AL and is “Buy Indian Act Qualified.”  IVA’AL is also eligible to participate in the Indian Incentive Program of the Department of Defense.

When the Government needs to meet critical compliance needs, a streamlined procurement strategy allows for engaging and onboarding the needed resources. Pursuant to the SBA 8(a) Program, IVA’AL is a Super 8(a) company and has unique rights in federal contracting.  These unique rights allow officials to award sole-source contracts for any value quickly, easily, and legally, and helps agencies meet their small business goals.  With special rights under the A-76 Program, IVA’AL can be awarded sole sourced contracts in any amount consistent with agency policies.  Sole-source awards to tribally owned businesses cannot be protested. • Is always considered a Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB).

• Can be awarded a contract valued at up to $25 million without a J&A per Section 811.

• Can be awarded a contract valued at up to $100 million for DoD contracts per the NDAA for FY2020.

• Can conduct direct negotiations with the Government.
